Horombo Hut Acclimatization Day

A rest and acclimatization day, with an optional walk toward Zebra Rocks or the Mawenzi Ridge to aid altitude adjustment.

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Cross the stark, high-altitude Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo to reach Kibo Hut, where you'll rest before the summit attempt.

Kibo Hut to Summit & Descent to Horombo Hut

A midnight start for the push to Uhuru Peak, followed by a long descent back down to Horombo Hut.
